Pax Machine Works is a 75+ year, fourth-generation precision metal stamping manufacturer in Celina, Ohio. We hold IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, and CMMC Level 1 certifications and serve automotive, defense, heavy machinery, energy, technology, and air handling markets with stamped components, in-house tooling, precision machining, and production assemblies from our 28-press facility with capacity up to 1,200 tons.
Our history
We serve automotive OEMs, defense supply chains, heavy equipment manufacturers, and three additional diversified markets, reducing single-industry dependency while delivering the same IATF 16949 quality discipline to every partner.
Oscar Pax opens a repair and machine shop on Monroe Road in Celina, Ohio, serving local farmers and small manufacturers.
Second generation expands into metal stamping production with the first stamping presses, transitioning from repair work to production manufacturing.
Major investments in high-tonnage press equipment. Third generation drives the company toward automotive quality standards and OEM production programs.
Achieves TS16949 certification (now IATF 16949:2016), opening doors to automotive OEMs and Tier suppliers across the Midwest.
Fourth generation drives strategic diversification across automotive, defense, and heavy machinery, while progressing into energy, technology, and air handling markets.

Our facility
Our Celina, Ohio facility houses 28+ stamping presses from 100 to 1,200 tons, a complete in-house tool & die shop with 5-axis CNC machining and wire EDM, precision machining capabilities, and quality inspection equipment including CMM and optical measurement systems.
We are located in western Ohio, central to the Midwest's automotive and defense manufacturing corridors.
We invest in relationships that last decades, with our people, our partners, and our community.
Second-generation and third-generation Presidents stand beside the company's first brand-new press, purchased in 1967. It remains in operation today.
